“Arming the Spirit 2” - Making with AI

Since the end of 2021, I have been creating images with AI, and every day I have witnessed the moment when words transform into images. 
The interaction between my own intuition and feelings, the tool, and words is something I find deeply interesting, and it fills me with excitement for the future explorations that would evolve alongside advancing technology.

In 2023, when I created this piece, there were still few people creating physical artworks using AI, and “Arming the Spirit 2” is one of my early works incorporating AI. 

The painting consists of two layers: the lower layer is created using a fluid technique with highly fluid acrylic paint, and on top of that, a thin, transparent film is applied, displaying the face of a biopunk android generated by AI.
